Shiatsu is a non-invasive form of therapeutic technique developed in JAPAN through a synthesis of Eastern and Western medical concepts.
It is used as a compliment to conventional medicine and as a preventative/alternative therapy. The word "SHIATSU" translates as
"Finger Pressure". It is the application of manual & digital pressure
to the skin to prevent and cure illness by a holistic approach, stimulating
the body's natural powers of recuperation and eliminating
fatigue-producing elements. This deep, but gentle, approach to preventative health care has many long term benefits for people of all ages.
